I want to start working with RN qualification as much as possible. I will get a BSN anyway, but my problem is which school is the better choice for me.
I got offers from two universities.
One school can obtain an ADN certificate in a 20-month program. If I go to this school, I have to get a loan of up to $30,000. The school's NCLEX pass rate is in the early 90 percent and ranks around 100th in the California nursing rankings.
Other universities have a 36-month BSN program, which can be reduced by up to 30 months. The school is in the top 10 of the California Nurses Ranking and has an NCLEX pass rate of 98 percent. If I have to go to this school, I have to get a loan of up to about $90,000. In addition, this university has implemented several simulations occurring in hospitals in the school and has good technologies to teach students.
I would like to enter a second school if I have enough time, but I really want to start working as a nurse as soon as possible, so I am contemplating which university is a good choice for me.
Is the good technology and facilities that teach students at school really necessary to become a nurse? If the NCLEX PASS rate is good, is it okay wherever I go?
I need your advice.

I am unfamiliar with California nursing schools but is the BSN college FOR PROFIT or are they both?

I don't think anyone should ever spend $90,000 to get a nursing degree. That is a TON of money for something that you can achieve for a lot less. If I were you I'd go to the ADN program, get a job when you finish, and do an RN-BSN program while you work.

1) Your screen name looks like it might be your real name. If so, please consider changing it. We talk about a lot of things here candidly, and you never know when something will get back to the wrong person.
2) $90K is too much debt for a nurse who has other options. The fancy degree doesn't mean much once you graduate and pass your NCLEX. My hospital has BSN, ADN, and Diploma nurses, and we all do the same job and we all have the same pay grid.
3) The NCLEX pass rate in the 90s is perfectly respectable for that ADN program you are considering. Your nursing education will largely be what YOU put into it. It will be up to you to study hard and learn the material wherever you go. Any school that has a pass rate over 90 is a school that prepares nurses to safely enter the workforce. People learned to be nurses long before "good technologies and facilities" were even a thing, so those definitely fall in the 'nice to have' rather than 'necessary' category.
