I want to start working with RN qualification as much as possible. I will get a BSN anyway, but my problem is which school is the better choice for me.
I got offers from two universities.
One school can obtain an ADN certificate in a 20-month program. If I go to this school, I have to get a loan of up to $30,000. The school's NCLEX pass rate is in the early 90 percent and ranks around 100th in the California nursing rankings.
Other universities have a 36-month BSN program, which can be reduced by up to 30 months. The school is in the top 10 of the California Nurses Ranking and has an NCLEX pass rate of 98 percent. If I have to go to this school, I have to get a loan of up to about $90,000. In addition, this university has implemented several simulations occurring in hospitals in the school and has good technologies to teach students.
I would like to enter a second school if I have enough time, but I really want to start working as a nurse as soon as possible, so I am contemplating which university is a good choice for me.
Is the good technology and facilities that teach students at school really necessary to become a nurse? If the NCLEX PASS rate is good, is it okay wherever I go?
I need your advice.
