I was picked in the lottery!!!

O M G, I am soooo happy right now! Out of 585 applications, my name came up in the first 100, which means I should get into Spring 2014 at CCSF (they pick 50 for fall; 50 for spring). Nothing's set in stone until I get the official letter, but I'm still going to celebrate!!!

I saw that one too! Thanks! I can't wait to start! :)

me toooo!!! i am soo ready to get going on things ! :))

Hey guys! I'd recommend getting the reading done for sure. Also, practice the med math and you'll be fine. :)

The first couple of weeks is almost like boot camp. But after that, it slows down... a bit. :)

Thanks a bunch ! How's clinicals?

Congrats! You're luckier than I am lol

loll its not all about luck! sure you can be lucky enough to get in but you have to be smart enough and determined to finish

So far so good! Each hospital is different... Some environments are slower than others.

Did anybody read the closure report the CCSF had to do? It is a "just in case" thing but it said students who complete 75% of there program will be helped. What about the others? bc those of us starting will only be finished with about 25% @starcat260 have they mentioned any news about it at school?

Yes, I read it. Seems those who are 75% done by summer 2014 will graduate with an RN degree from CCSF. After that, they do not say anything concrete about the other existing nursing students which is what I was worried about.

Starcat, I am very curious to know what they told your class about what will happen if they lose accreditation, because they will tell us the same. Like many people, I assume, I can't make a decision on a whim.

Hi guys! I read that too. I called them earlier and they referred me back to the letter that they sent us beginning of summer. It said that if the school closes, they will have a plan for us. I hope everything follows through.
