O M G, I am soooo happy right now! Out of 585 applications, my name came up in the first 100, which means I should get into Spring 2014 at CCSF (they pick 50 for fall; 50 for spring). Nothing's set in stone until I get the official letter, but I'm still going to celebrate!!!
I had no other plans either. I just got an email saying CCSF will retain accreditation thru Spring '14, but then what after that? Did you all get the email too?
I guess I need to keep applying to other schools?
Should I still attend Spring semester?
If I do, then the school closes, will my RN classes be transferable? And to what schools?
Ugh, I guess I really need to keep my day job just in case things don't pan out.
I am hoping that the nursing program will place us somewhere since we will be in the middle of our programs...cause its really not fair. I am sure the RN office will come out with something ASAP cause we are all wondering what the heck to do. I know I am still going to go in spring and i am sure something will get figured out. I know i didnt wait 3 years for nothing. @lauraline they will be transferrable all the credits will be no matter what. ( soo sad but lets keep positive (but realistic) thoughts!!
Any word yet? I am very nervous and worried
Nope. I really hope the Nursing Department holds a meeting or sends a letter to address the more specific issues it's facing. (Today is a holiday so maybe they are closed.)
I haven't been taking those Summer bridge classes, but haven't you? Has anyone said anything in class? I'm starting the Medical Terminology class 7/11 so maybe I will hear something then.
Also, I'm wondering what if Fall 2013 students get scared away and withdraw their seat, and we get bumped up!
So much to think about, it's really just overwhelming me. Ugh.

Has anybody picked up the book yet for the summer math class?
