I Passed Med Surg!!!!!!!!!!!!

Published

Hi everyone,

I don't post a lot, just lurk mostly, but I HAD to post to say, I passed Med-Surg!!!!!:roll This was a miserable semester with Advanced Pharmacology, Med-Surg, Psychiatric Nursing and Geriatric nursing all crammed into 10 weeks. But I did it, it's over and I Passed What's sad is that I have 2 friends, the three of us have been inseperable since we started the RN program last fall, and one of them didn't make it. :o My heart breaks for her. Needless to say we didn't do much celebrating today. (only 10 of 30 people in the class passed)

So I come to all of you who have been in, or will be in my shoes soon, to say I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!:) Only 3 more semesters, 6 HESI's, and 1 NCLEX to go and I will be and RN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Specializes in L&D.

woohoo!! i'm really happy for you! hopefully this coming tuesday i'll be posting the same thing!!

Specializes in Emergency & Trauma/Adult ICU.

I can now say it loud, and say it proud ...

I'm done with med-surg!! :)

Ended up with a B. I have two weeks off, then I start mother/baby on Aug. 24. But for right now, it's time to relax, put away ALL books for now, schedule my pedicure, and see if the frozen margarita mix is frozen yet ...

WOOO HOOO!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!! I got a B too. Me and my 2 year old have done nothing but hang out together all week! No books, no school, no schedule. I start Peds and Psych II next. our mother/baby is the next semester. Congratulations again!!!

I'm taking med/surg in the spring after my first semester of nursing school. I've talked to several students who've said that it is the hardest in the program. It's the weed out time where many people can fail. This is why I'm trying not to work that semester, and just focus on school. Good luck to everyone.

I start med-surg fall semester as well. I heard the same thing... it's the weeding out period. I start back Aug. 16th and we do 3 weeks of Peds and then 13 weeks of med-surg. I'm kind of freaked out about it. :uhoh21:

Thanks for the heads up Danelle. :)
