Hello everyone.
I passed Excelsior's A&P with a "B". I was rather surprised because during the test, I started making plans for what to do if I failed. I've studied quite a bit for the test, but I've never felt quite ready. Actually I've rescheduled the test 4 times since June.
I now feel really confident about taking the upcoming tests, (for me that's Microbiology and all the Nursing Concepts, plus CPNE, of course and that computer literacy thing).
I am probably going to miss the enrollment cutoff date this month, which means I'll have to go under the new guidelines. Other than an additional outlay of money, I even think that's going to be better.
NC-3 is to be divided into two exams and there are 3 "simulated exams" that I'll now have to take.
Much success to all who are now preparing for exams!!!.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh... that was my very first Excelsior (then still Regents) exam as well... and after acing that one, I set very high standards for myself as a result.
Fond memories indeed, but I sure wouldn't want to start all over again!
Good for you ! :balloons:
Keep on and give it all you've got. You can do this... many of us here did, so can you ! :)

Congrats to you! It's funny, there have been three Excelsior exams that I was thinking I failed, then the grade comes up at the end as an "A". Lotsa critical thinking questions on the Nursing Concepts exams, not so much cut and dry memorization type questions. Good luck with your continued studies.
