I recently took my RN NCLEX 3/8 in PA. I was "chosen" to do all #265...As if when the computer did not cut off at #75 it was enough to send me into V-Tach...LOL The fact that the test was taken on a Friday and results are not avail is sending me into a frenzy. I have tried the PVT 3xs and recvd the infamous comment result that everyone speaks of as the "good pop up"...The suspense is killing me...Im really doing my best to remain calm and cool...I am hoping for the best and preparing for the worst!!! Wish me Luck!!! Feel free to share any words of comfort...

Good pop up? Chile you passed. Congrats you are officially an RN. Now go celebrate and get rid of the anxiety.

No one is "chosen" to receive a 265 question exam. The computer just could never say with 95% certainty that you were either above or below the passing standard so it kept giving you questions. After you got to the max number of questions (265) it looked at your last 60 questions and based on how many you had correct in that last 60 determined whether you passed or failed. That doesn't really matter now though since you passed based on the pop up you received.

If you go to 265 or time out, the test looks at the last 60 and if you dropped below the line, whether you answered correctly or not, the test will fail you.
You passed!! CONGRATULATIONS NURSE!!!

If after taking the exam you log in to pearson vue and when next to Status it says "Delivery Successful" you try to register for another exam. You input the info and if it says "Our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. A new registration can not be completed at this time." That means you passed. If it goes to the credit card screen where you can pay 99.9% of the time that means you failed. You can also get something that says your results are on hold. That can mean anything.
