I need some inspiration!!

People!!

We moved to another city and I had to leave school before being able to upgrade my marks..

Now I'm staying at home for another year taking summer school, night school, and what not..

I have been so busy with other little stuff and life here that I started to give up on where I want to get with my nursing career..

feel like giving me a few words of inspiration? :o

Don't give up !

Do summer school and night school and bring those grades up.

when I decided to go back to school at 27 I told myself if I dident I would be 29 and in the same place I was at the 27. If I went back I could be 29 with an RN (already had 3 years of college from the first time I went) and doing what I wanted most in life.

You'll get threw it ....if its what you really want

Always look for that silver lining that is buried in the dark clouds. Keep your sights on your goal and like Dayray said......tell your self if you don't go back, you will be in the exact same place that you are now "X" number of years from now (insert the number of yrs you have left of college). Self improvement and realizing one's dreams never comes easy but can happen with a little elbow grease and stick-to-it-iveness!! It will be worth it all in the end and you will hold your head and shoulders up and say, "I DID IT!!!":balloons:

Keep your chin up and know that we are here for you!!!

Edison Invented hundreds of light bulbs that did not work. If he gave up it would jhave set the development of the entire world back. Who knows how far.

I went to nursing school right out of high school in 1977, quit in 1978 to join the Navy, got married, had two sons, went back to LPN school in 1990, graduated in 1992 with LPN, went into bridge program, graduated in 1994 with an ADN. I'm back in school now for a BSN/MSN and will graduate in 2005. If I can do it - anybody can. Good luck...

Times like these make us appreciate the time when we get past them. Ever relate to that cat poster where they are just hanging from the tree with only their claws. Remember the light at the end of the tunnel........you will be the cool cat, that looks as though they just ate the mouse.:cool:
