well i just got back from graduating from texas woman's university with my bachelors degree...non- nursing. one thing about this is i did it completely distance wise with only one hybrid class (lecture/ test on campus) - everything else taken entirely online...even though i am very proud of myself .i wanted to post this as encouragement for anyone thinking they don't have what it takes to further their education...because you do:up:....
now a momentary break before i tackle the cpne

I had no idea you were pursuing a non-nursing degree in addition to your nursing studies at Excelsior!
Well, you already know that I think you're amazing; besides saying "you rock!" what else is there?
I sincerely wish you all the best of everything. You're a wonderful person, and a real inspiration for the students on this forum. Continued success, my friend! And many congratulations!
bachelors in general studies concentrations in government and sociology
sweet! congrats! what was your degree?
don have you been at the bottle again:beercuphe..lol just kidding thank you for the kind words. i had what i call "academic junk" on my transcript just being there with no purpose, so i decided a year ago to turn it in to something and just had to get 36 hours in my two concentration areas...gov and soc .the goal was to then work on my masters in gerontology but since i will be a rn soon i figure ill just do it in nursing... i will be taking the cpne feb 27th then be done (hopefully) ...
