I want everyone to fill in the blank on something their school does that they hate.
I hate when my school switches around professors the week before classes after most of us have based our schedules solely on trying to get the best professors. They switched my physiology professor to a sucky one and my Developmental Pysch professor to someone that's new and no one knows. They also changed my chem professor but he's a good one so I didn't mind that.

Wont take back brand new books.
Our school likes to play that game as well. Or they list it as 'staff', so you cant try and get a good teacher.

OMG they did this for my A&P book. They sell the binder version (basically the one with no covers) because it's cheaper. You can't sell it back to the bookstore. It's not even opened! The plastic is still on it, it ****** me off. When I sell my books back at the end of the semester sometimes they'll say "oh well that professor hasn't given us their booklist yet so we don't know if they'll be using it". Umm I don't give a darn if they are using this book, I should still be able to sell it back and get something for it!

Could not agree more!!!!!!! I hate when my school lists it as "staff" - great, now I don't know if the teacher is the one I've been waiting to get, or the one you couldn't pay me to have!

They did this to me too !! I feel your pain !! I know very little about my new professor not as much as the old. But I have no other choice I have to make the best of it. I can't change now. You might get lucky like I did in the past they changed mine and I got lucky. And liked my new teacher and did well ! I hope I luck out again. Good Luck to you maybe you will get lucky too !!:)

won't allow me to receive financial because I'm too far into my program even though I qualify for it.
This is my last semester of my associates and I've paid for it all myself up until now. They said I might be able to get it if I get accepted into the nursing program because that would be a different program. I won't die without the financial aid but I work alot to pay for my tuition. It takes away from my studies and I know once I get into the nursing program it's going to take alot of studying.

I agree with everyone! If I qualify for financial aid then give it to me. I hate when my school do buy back my textbook, but will only give me $20 for a book that I spent $90+ for and then sell the same book "used" for $85. NOT FAIR!

My school doesn't list professors for 99.9% of the classes it's all staff. I'm so nervous about who I have as a professor for A&P 2!

Why are you buying books when you can rent them at Chegg? I got my statistics book for $29, new it costs around $80.
Wow...I'd be pretty irritated if my college didn't list the professors teaching the classes. In fact, I'd call the college and ask who is teaching the class before signing up. Its my money and my education.
What bugs me?
The statistics instructor who didn't know that the expensive TI83 calculator can be borrowed from the college library.
They say they don't know...they won't tell us. It's one of the reasons why I hate the school that I'm taking my pre-reqs at and even if I can get into the RN program here I don't plan on staying

I hate just about everything about my school... But, its the only one that's close enough (I live in a rural area).
One thing I'm currently irked about is this: we have to take the HOAE as an entrance exam for the nursing program. I took it on the first available date because I was anxious to see how I did. After the test, I asked the administrator (who is also the college president) when we would get our scores and guess what? He is going to wait until everyone has taken it before the sends them off to be scored. He is "uncomfortable" with some people knowing how they did but not others. Well. No one told those people to wait, they could have all came and taken it on the first date, just like I did! It is really ticking me off.
