I found out today that I have been accepted into the nursing program I applied to. I begin in June.
I am so relieved and excited. I know this will is the begining of a long hard journey but one I have waited a long, long time for.
Now I just have to get a clinical site lined up.
I know I will be surfing this board more and more as it has just been such a wealth of information and support.
Thanks to all,
C

Thanks for all the support.
I know life will be changing but I have been taking distance ed classes for several years so at least that part of it won't be new.
As for the rest, well I guess all I can do is keep my eyes wide open!
Thanks again for all your kind wishes.

Congrats opalm. It must be so nice to be starting so soon! Unfortunately I thought I would also be starting in June, but I was waitlisted...

MelD,
If I can offer any hope it would be that when I applied to x-ray school there were nearly 300 applicants that year.
Of those, 120 were first round interview, 60 of those were second round interviewed.
28 were choosen. I was not one of them. One week before the classes began I got a phone call that someone dropped from the class and that I was next in line for a seat.
I believe that everything happens when it does for a reason. Not much consolation when you want something so bad, but I have found things do work out eventually.
I will keep rooting for you. Keep us posted,
