Wow, i cannot believe this day came. only 2 years ago it was my dream, and now i will be living it. I was so worried i was going to be waitlisted b/c NVCC is one of the hardest community colleges to get into for the nursing program in the state of CT. Now i just have to fully concentrate on my remaining pre reqs. Everyone who is still waiting, keep your heads up and you are bound to get in!

I applied but I did not get accepted, so I am going to have to reapply for the spring semester. What did you score on the ACT? I am going to retake it this summer.

I got a 23..not bad, but not good either, good luck for the spring semester!

Thanks I need all the luck I can get. That gives me a slight relief. It was my first time taking the ACT ever and I have been out of school for eight yrs. I got a 21 and had a 3.4 GPA. This time I am going to study for the ACT so maybe I can get my score. Was this your first time applying?

I just got accepted yesterday to my #1 school! Sooo excited, I was chosen for one of the sponsored seats for the program at one of the local hospitals. My dream of becoming a nurse is coming true!!! Good luck to all still waiting and congrats to all other accepted students!

Okay so I have an update. I had applied for the Spring 2012 semestert JSCC this summer I did not get a seat, but I did make alternate. They callled me last week to offer me a seat. I called and accepted the seat. I go to orientation on Thursday. I don't know what it consist of, but I must have to do orientation before I can change my registration to the nursing classes. I really hope I succeed because I have been wanting this for a long time. I am already turning into a chicken.
