Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello,

I took my exam on Friday and did the Pvt and did not get the "good" pop up. This why I think I failed because this also happened the first time I took the exam. Yes this was my second attempt and now I feel hopeless. Any advice for someone that needs to take the exam a third time?!? Because this will be my last attempt. Please help! Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Thank you.

Let us know tomorrow the results. Do something fun for yourself, watch TV shows, especially ones that have a marathon, my favorite is NCIS. Go to starbucks and bring a book and have a coffee or tea. Take care, you will have your results soon.

You guys really need to stop with the PVT and just wait for the official results. OMG.

I haven't watched NCIS but recently I've really gotten into Law and Order SVU

Pvt reliable, for me. Try doing it but changing your expiration date on the card so you wont up having charges. Goodluck and Godbless!

You can get charged with the wrong expiration date. It's happening a lot lately

I hope you passed!! I'll be taking the test next wednesday. How did you prepare this time?

I hoped you passed! By the way are you a Canadian student? I noticed that you indicated your 3rd attempt will be your final.

I failed mine as well. 265 questions, it just kept going. I feeling is terrible, heart wrenching!

Yes guys, unfortunately I failed! My heart is breaking... Sorry to hear you failed James.brown20022002 I actually ran out of time on my exam and I knew that wasn't a good sign. I did Saunders both time and what I meant was after the 3rd time I will have to take a review course before I can test again... I for sure thought I was going to pass, but after I passed 75 questions I was so devastated! I almost walked out, I shut down and now I feel like that's what caused me to fail... Feeling so helpless

Erz21, maybe we should change our study game plan. I did Saunders, Kaplan Qbank averaging test score 65%

and Qtrainers 1,4,5. I memorized Kaplan to death, I typed over 100 paged notes. And still failed, the real

NCLEX was different from Kaplan. Only some of the Kaplan-type questions were asked. Ugh! Kaplan is no bueno.

I will try UWorld and LaCharity as recommended by others in this forum.

Sorry to hear your news. One thing that worked for me was taking over 5000 questions. Every day at the end of the day I would write on my calendar the number of questions i did. I made it a goal to do at least 100 questions a day on the days I was not working, and to understand why answered correctly or incorrectly. At the end of the month, it was neat to see how many questions I answered. It was a great way to end each day by writing down the accomplishment. On days that I worked, iI would bring flashcards with me and answer as many as I could in between cares, etc. .

Good Luck to you and take care

Thank you RNNPICU, I've heard of the 100-200 questions a day and will definitely try it... And yes James.brown20022002 we should change our study methods. I agree, NCLEX questions were very different from Saunders as well... Hopefully I will find the right study method
