    What offends you (nursing related)?

Lying patients! I experienced this today. I have a patient that told me he wants to go to the bathroom to pee and said to take him after he eats. 2 minutes later the wife called the nursing station screaming and said why his husband is not being cared of.

Why do some nurses "hate their jobs"?

I hate my job right now because were always short so having a higher patient load makes it inefficient and unsafe.

"Can you stay late?" Hours and overtime.

I work 8 stressful hours, aint gonna work another 8 stressful hours then go to work early again next morning haha

"Can you stay late?" Hours and overtime.

Where I work its always short, everyday the person who does staffing will ask me if I want to work, on my off days they will call and ask if I can come in, I always say no.

    Resigning after 3 months

Were in the same boat, I'm 2 months in but I'm feeling burnt out. The difference is this is my first job, if you follow the site im the one who always ask for advice, how to resign. I think we all go to this phase. First month was worst, i always want to quit every after shift, anxiety is always off the roof, overthinking everytime, feeling stressed out even though you dont having nothing to be stressed. 2 months in, I still having the same feeling but it lessened. What I learned from this job is let the stress in and let it all out. There are bad days there are good days, we just have to find a way to pull it off

    LTC's are a joke

Sorry for that one, like I said worse comes to worse, when I know its going to be one of days I try to finish every paper works to be done in the am, and i know i wont be finishing my med pass on time so i give the major ones on time and comeback later for the vitamins etc.

    LTC's are a joke

Not that i mean i dont give them, I just give them late for example 8:00 bp meds and seizure meds are given within the time frame and I comeback for those glucerna and vitamins later. We all know 50% of medpass in ltc are vitamins. Sorry if i misinterpret

    LTC's are a joke

I work in a ltc too, is too much. You cant give meds on time, worst comes to worst, i only give the important ones. I learned this from others.

    Help with reference

Good thing I asked first. I was about to ask my current supervisor haah wonder what she will feel and probably dont help me anymore If I ask something, worst part is if I dont get the job

    Help with reference

Okay I will not ask for my current supervisor. Maybe my last clinical instructor can replace them but I'm positive with my peers that they are asking
