As mentioned in the thread's title, I fulfilled the remaining requirements for my BSN degree from WGU this afternoon. My journey took a little more than 10 months from start to finish, required the completion of 34 credits, and cost approximately $5,800 due to a prorated second term.
Feel free to ask any questions that come to mind.
Lately, the WGU transcript evaluators have been waiving the Fundamentals of College Math requirement for those who have already earned an associate degree. This includes the vast majority of applicants to the online RN-to-BSN program.Congrats!! Can you tell me if they are still requiring Fundamentals of College Math? I heard somewhere that it has been dropped? But you still have to take Statistics?Thank for your comment

Back when I finished my ASN, I wrote all of my papers in pen and spent forever during the research for citation ect, ect,. I can take a test but those papers the reason I waited some long. Plus, my typing skill are not great........help
Some courses required one or two papers. Other courses required the student to attain a satisfactory score on an objective assessment (a.k.a. final exam) to show competency.Hi, I am late with this thread I just have a few questions, Will there be lots of long research papers to write for each classes? Hello!
I just came across this thread since I am in the early admission process for WGU and I do have some questions of which I would love any and all advice.
First, congrats on all of your achievements; Second, I wanted to know how are the proctored exams? Did you find them to be consistent with the material?
How long into the semester can you take the exam and if you fail how long before you retest?
Do all courses require a proctored exam?
Thanks in advance.
The proctored exams are very consistent with the course of study. However, I didn't really follow the course of study because it contains enough busy work to keep you occupied for months. Typically you take a pretest (a.k.a. preassessment), reinforce your weak areas, then take the proctored exam (a.k.a. objective assessment).I wanted to know how are the proctored exams? Each term is six months. You can test up to the 7 days before the six-month term ends. Since I never failed any of WGU's exams, I do not know how long a student would need to wait before retesting.
Not all courses require a proctored exam. Some require performance assessments, which may include essays or PowerPoint presentations.Do all courses require a proctored exam?
I may have asked this before or you may have already answered this, but how long did it take you to complete the 2nd part of Community Health?
I have 17 weeks left in my term and am working on the 1st Community Health now. I don't want to add the 2nd one and then get overwhelmed at home or work. I want to add it knowing that I have more than enough time to complete it.
I took about four weeks to finish the second community health (C229) course. I could have finished it in half the time, but became spooked and assumed it was much more complex than it really was.I may have asked this before or you may have already answered this, but how long did it take you to complete the 2nd part of Community Health?I have 17 weeks left in my term and am working on the 1st Community Health now.
