  1. Hello! I just came across this thread since I am in the early admission process for WGU and I do have some questions of which I would love any and all advice. First, congrats on all of your achievements; Second, I wanted to know how are the proctored exams? Did you find them to be consistent with the material? How long into the semester can you take the exam and if you fail how long before you retest? Do all courses require a proctored exam? Thanks in advance.
  2. When I came across the HRSA scholarship program I was literally 2 days shy of the submission deadline. I just found out I was accepted into nursing school that same week...I thought it was a sign of some sort. I knew it would be a long shot, especially that I applied last minute. I figured I will be patient and hope for the best. This week I have been the most anxious ever. I have been loging on to the site and my yahoo account compulsively in hopes for a status change... "Under Review" has been the most torturing status to see. I know it still leaves me in the running but then my mind runs wild. I start to think that maybe I accidently deleted my congrats email and then harrassingly call the HRSA customer service line to only have them reconfirm what I am capable of seeing online. Here I am again 2 days shy of accepted candidate deadline...Gosh I hope to be on that list! If not I want to say congrats to those that have been accepted and look forward to applying next year...Godspeed to all Nursing Students!
  3. I am still under review as well and have been stressing this scholarship everyday. I've read previous post regarding a congrats email from nurse corp which has boosted my anxiety. I'm constantly searching through yahoo mail, login into hrsa account, followed by cust serv call for updates...and I am told the same thing "notifications will be complete by aug 30"
  4. I want to be a women's health practitioner/midwifery. I heard it moves faster once the license is obtained.
  5. Hello class of 2015! I have been accepted to an ADN program and I am nervous yet equally excited. Orientation is in Aug, a couple of weeks before class starts. I've applied for a few scholarships and grants and am hoping for the best. I am happy that I've gotten over this hurdle of getting into a nursing school and look forward to what lies ahead...good luck to us all and hang in there for the long nights that await... (My coffee pot will be my new BFF)
