Hybrid ASN Spring 2019 Albany State/Darton College

Published

Hi

Making a space for anyone to post about the Hybrid Spring 2019 RN Program

Is anyone here applying for the Hybrid RN program at Albany State University/Darton college for Spring 2019? How far will you be traveling? GPA and TEAS Score?

Idk if my previous post saved but I am applying to the program. Coming from southside of Atl so 2.5-3hrs away. What about you?

I will be driving about 2 hours, from central GA south of Macon

Hi

I'm thinking about applying for the hybrid program. I will be driving 2 hrs one way. I haven't took the teas yet. Have you got any information about the days you will have to meet? How many do the admit into the program?

I have been previously told that they only accept around 22-24 students. The class meets once a week for testing or clinical. I have no idea but would be interested to know how many applicants they have each time.

What was the average gpa and teas scores that was accepted in the past classes?

Just saw where the deadline has been extended until Oct. 15th.

I saw that too! Hopefully that doesn't push back the 11/1 (I think that was the date) date of them letting us know.

The new forms were still saying they would send out letters by Nov. 1st. The Spring class schedule only has 20 seats available, I would assume they would waitlist 3-5 people in the event someone doesn't accept their seat. I emailed, but the nursing dept couldn't say how many applications has been turned in as of Oct. 1st. (against policy??)

I'm not sure if the extension is due to a hold up in the admissions department getting students enrolled or if they are waiting to see if additional applications come in for the program. It looks like the Bridge and Evening Track programs also have extended deadlines.

Do you know how many seats are available for the Bridge program?

Maybe 40? I'm not sure, and I'm assuming you mean the bridge to ASN not RN to BSN. You could email someone within the nursing departmenr to get a definite answer
