  1. At first, it's 9-1/2ish. Later on it was less face-to-face class time. We started to have Clinical before "class," which was really just an exam after clinical. So clinical from 6am - 1/2ish then go to campus for exam from like 3:30 - 5 PM. I think fundamentals is taken 1st semester and pharmacology the 2nd. Fundamentals was not bad, I would say learn dosage calculations (not hard but can get tricky.... you need a 100% on the math exams every semester , you do have 3 attempts...). 5 rights of med administration, start memorizing lab values, transmission based precautions, sterile technique , etc. If things are still done the same way, semester 2 w pharmacology over the Summer will probably be the most difficult semester. Pharmacology is a beast, you will be taking it with Med Surg which is challenging but doable. The key for me was to keep a running book of notes for each module (not class!!). As you learn write your notes and come back to it BEFORE and AFTER each time you study and just review and highlight. Keep doing this and it'll start to stick. Also practice questions practice questions practice questions to keep reinforcing it. Get a separate like review book that will summarize the stuff, you can't learn it all you have to learn the big themes and some of those review books will help you know what you really need to know about these meds/diseases. Let me know if you have any other questions!
  2. Hi Nia. Our class just graduated in July. We went just one day a week on Mondays at first (and generally throughout the program). Later on we started having to come in on Sundays and Mondays. We also rotated some weeks (meaning we did not have class for a week or 2 at a time). Overall it was a good program, but it is a tough one. Most of the work is asynchronous. You have to be prepared to put in a lot of time learning the material because you are on your own for the most part. Some of the exams are consequential. The ATI exams (basically final exams) are pass/fail, so if you do not pass with a Level 2 after 2 attempts you are dropped. This did not happen to many of us but it is something you want to wrap your head around early on. Good luck to you! You will do well!
  3. Congratulations!! Are you in the Hybrid or evening program ?
