  1. Usually if they extend the deadline it means they did not have enough qualified candidates to fill all the open spots and are giving potential students more time to get application submitted. Do you meet the minimum requirements to apply for the program, if so there is a good chance you will get in, if you do not get in for Spring they also have a new cohort starting in summer as well and it may be less competitive during that semester. Best of luck to you!
  2. I think scrubs are ordered from Meridy's but to get the correct uniforms you need the school code
  3. Orientation isn't until Jan. 14th, the first day of class. But we aren't going to get a list of required items until then. I'm guessing we aren't expected to have scrubs or supplies the first couple of weeks?
  4. Has anyone else gotten a letter? I'm curious as to how many applications they had this year.
  5. Same here, nursing Courses have been added to my DegreeWorks
  6. My GPA is around a 3.6 - nursing Dept only uses grades from their required classes TEAS - 80
  7. Not to get any hopes up, but searching on the boards here it looks like if your "degree path" or major was changed you were probably accepted, as in it changed for a reason. But people are accepted without their major being changed first as well
  8. My BannerWeb was also updated for "As of Spring 2019" for Nursing Major, AS in Nursing. This is new because at the beginning of October it was still Health Science(but had not been updated for Fall 2018), BUT my advisor is still my same online student advisor and not a nursing one. This may just be an automatic update due to the major you chose. I have not gotten any emails, but I'm also a current student with Albany.
  9. The Nursing Dept said end of the week when I asked if there would be delays due to school closing the other week.
  10. Maybe 40? I'm not sure, and I'm assuming you mean the bridge to ASN not RN to BSN. You could email someone within the nursing departmenr to get a definite answer
  11. The new forms were still saying they would send out letters by Nov. 1st. The Spring class schedule only has 20 seats available, I would assume they would waitlist 3-5 people in the event someone doesn't accept their seat. I emailed, but the nursing dept couldn't say how many applications has been turned in as of Oct. 1st. (against policy??) I'm not sure if the extension is due to a hold up in the admissions department getting students enrolled or if they are waiting to see if additional applications come in for the program. It looks like the Bridge and Evening Track programs also have extended deadlines.
  12. Just saw where the deadline has been extended until Oct. 15th.
  13. I believe they are accepting 50 students into the ASN cohort, not sure about BSN.
  14. The Spring 19 selection is closed and won't be accepting additional applications. The Fall 2019 (Cochran Campus) selection will begin on Jan. 3rd and deadline is Feb 17th (I think)
  15. Hi Unfortunately i missed the deadline for Aug. 17th but have contacted someone to see if that deadline is extended. I have a GPA of 3.7, TEAS 80
