hi there
I tried hurst review online and I did not passed. I got all near passing. I did not get my money back. The only thing is that I misunderstood their remedial program which means that if you want to renew the online video you would have to pass $50 each month and if you want to go to their live review its an extra $150 or $200 ontop of what you paid online of $300.
I would not recommend hurst. I dont know what other review are out there--ATI, feuer, etc
what are the reviews that you have mention in the posting. I never heard of it.
what have you done so far? I will be testing in 3 weeks. I have study since jan monday through friday and having the weekend to work with saunders book and med pubs.
Personally, I believe that these reviews programs are out for your money.
I would simply try saunders books with the CD (suzanne's plan) and give it a try before you invest all that money and they dont help you out if you failed again.
I am using suzanne plan and hopefully pray to god that it would be my last and FINAL time.
please pray for me at the end of MARCH
PM if you want more questions/info regarding hurst

I took the live Hurst review and basically we got a book and it had a lot of blanks in it and when she talked we filled in the blanks. It was a good review of content, IMO. The way she explained things were simple and no nonsense so that you can easily understand. Once the review was over I got the online review so I could watch more lectures again. You also get questions, a lot of info you will need, lab values, cranial neves, stages of development etc....basically she said everything you need to know for the NCLEX is on the review. I liked it a lot, but I also studied it a lot and we were told if we were going to pass with her review we had to be able to teach the content by heart. On top of the hurst I got the Kaplan q bank for the questions only. I passed.
Hope this helps. Everyone learns differently. Good luck to you.

I took the Hurst Live Review and we were given the online review free for a week because our class was cancelled the first day because of weather issues. I found this to be a wonderful course! It was nice to have the online review to repeat the lectures that I needed clarification with. The review is WELL WORTH THE MONEY! You do need to study the right way, repeat and be able to lecture on the information yourself.

I took Hurst and failed. Nice review but not in depth enough for NCLEX.
My advice to anyone would be give the first shot at NCLEX as close to graduation as possible. That's where your wealth of knowledge is.
Many review courses promote themselves with high pass rates when in my opinion that has more to do with just finishing school than a four day review.
High priced pep rally.

I took their 3 day live review and had a week(more than a wk) of free on-line review because we started late on the first day. I passed my NCLEX on the first try. Their instructors are great.

I did Hurst online and I loved it! Particularly the lectures on fluids & electrolytes and the endocrine system. Online you can watch them over and over. passed the first time!

The Hurst review didn't do anything for me. I brought Saunder's 3rd edition, did all the questions in the book, and about 300-400 questions a day using the CD. It only took my an hour to take Boards, I passed with 75 questions. I started studying exactly 2 weeks before Boards 8-10 hours a day with 30 of breaks in between. If you are using Saunder's, 3rd or 4th ed is good, just make sure that you are reading all the rationale!
