Hello,
Has anyone taken the Hurst review and done the questions? If you have already passed the nclex-Rn, can you tell me what scores you were getting? I think Hurst review is great, but i don't have anything to base my scores on. Any advice would help.
Thanks in advance
I did the Hurst Review in 2009. There were no "Q" reviews. Is this something the company has developed to compete with Kaplan?
At any rate, I did the review, then used the Prentice Hall practice disk. I was hitting 92-94 percent. Recently, I got my hands on a Kaplan practice disk and took the test. I finished with 88 percent, no studying, two years after Hurst. I credit Hurst. It has stayed with me.
I don't mean to be in the dark but I haven't taken my NCLEX yet. But what does the "good pop" look like, what will it say?
Many posts post the good pop up but suggest you check out the first post in the thread https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/pearsonvue-trick-part-621075.html
Hi kuyafern!!! I also took hurst and just did 3 q reviews and I got 74 73 and 85. You're scores are fine don't worry to much about scores. Just make sure review all the rationales and learn from it. Hurst is a really good review it helped me pass nclex on my second try. The first time i took nclex I got 265 questions and on my second time I only had 90 questions and finally passed! I wish you all the luck on your nclex!
I also graduated from a foreig country like you so I would sugget takig hurst because for me they cover most of the content that you need to know to be able to pass nclex. I really loved that review because I do not like reading books, i am more of a visual and auditory learner. So hurst is what really helped me pass nclex.

I'm so glad I found this thread! I'm taking the NCLEX in the morning and have gotten the following scores on Q Review : 81, 81, 73, 93. But like the OP said, I have no idea how to quantify my scores.
BTW, is everyone giving their scores, or percentages? I just want to make sure we're all talking about the same thing. Because my percentage scores are obviously much lower (64.8%, 58.4%, 74.4%) which are obviously closer to the same numbers everyone else is getting.
