Hello,
Has anyone taken the Hurst review and done the questions? If you have already passed the nclex-Rn, can you tell me what scores you were getting? I think Hurst review is great, but i don't have anything to base my scores on. Any advice would help.
Thanks in advance
Thank you Diel08!! I've seen my progress but i believe I need to push myself a bit further. I'm so glad I did this review. Praying for all of the hard work to pay off. Thank you again. Best of luck to all of us!! =)
Hi kuyafern!!! I also took hurst and just did 3 q reviews and I got 74 73 and 85. You're scores are fine don't worry to much about scores. Just make sure review all the rationales and learn from it. Hurst is a really good review it helped me pass nclex on my second try. The first time i took nclex I got 265 questions and on my second time I only had 90 questions and finally passed! I wish you all the luck on your nclex!

Is your scores in percentages or is it
74/125?
Hurst is the bomb! I swear by it! Took nothing but Hurst online review and some excerpts from Exam Cram. I took the boards today and every question looked easy to answer even when given the dreaded SATA questions. Got a good pop up with 107 questions. Just follow blindly as how they "think" when answering a question and you'll be fine. I didn't say that I knew all the answers to the questions provided but when I kept in mind how to think "nclexy" (hurst term), I seemed to sense that I answered the questions right because SATA kept piling up one after the other. Good luck to all those who would be taking their tests. :)
I took the Hurst Review online, and passed the NCLEX a couple weeks ago with 75 questions. I wanted to post my practice test scores, because there don't seem to be many people posting their scores AFTER the find out if they passed, and there are a lot of people asking. I got 70.4%, 69%, 72.8%, 77.3%, 78.4%, and 78.4%, in that order. I got a ton of psych questions, a ton of med questions, one drag and drop...not too many SATA (which made me nervous, I thought that was a bad sign), probably between 8-10.
Hurst was a great review and I'm really glad I took it, but there didn't seem to be many questions (that I got at least) that Hurst would have helped me answer. That being said though, having more knowledge probably helped me answer a lot of questions in a more roundabout way, and I can't say for sure that I would have passed with no review.
