Hello Everyone!
I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am taking prerequisites with the goal of applying to an accelerated BSN, but I need to have Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II completed by the end of January 2010.
I am wondering if anyone knows of any schools in New Mexico (college, university, community college, or any) that offer Anatomy I and II where the sequence can be done in one semester as opposed to the usual 2 semesters. Thanks so much!!

I know that at CNM you can take the courses at the same time... They are hard though so make sure you have plenty of time to study! Good Luck!

This is a cool idea I wish there was somewhere in Colorado you could do this I 'thought' you had to take I before II

I have been a long time student at CNM, or TVI, and I was able to take A and P one lab while taking A and P 2 theory and lab. The one thing is that in order to be able to register for both you need to get department approval ahead of time.
Hope this helped,

I'm taking both I and II online at Clovis Community College. They don't seem to have any real prerequisites either. They have them on campus as well.

Hey HEARTBEATS,
I am planning on taking A&P I and II over the summer at Clovis. How did you find your experience? Was it tough? How are the exams?
Thanks a bunch! =)

My advice...don't do it...don't even consider it.
You have no idea of how much is involved...I dind't take a single nursing class that was anywhere near as difficult as A&P and just one class taken by itself took over my life.
It could destroy your GPA if you do.

yeah, Baby Lady. I live in Michigan and there is a lady in my A&P1 class,(community college) she already took this A&P1 and 2 in one semester at Wayne State (a good 4 year college with a med program in Detroit) and said there was no way, she failed it.
She is taking it with me at my school now and even with her previous exposure and my lack of incoming knowledge Im still doing better than she is. This class is tough. Lots of detailed infor to know and the Labs are not easy.
Though this is almost a year later with a response, I took them both @ Amarillo College in Texas, passed both too online.
