I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?
Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

Congrats to everyone so far! And for us "under review" students good luck ?

I know what you mean but it seems like the first rounds are 80-90% applicants with EFC 0 being accepted.

The APG is pretty clear that they only consider applicants with an EFC under 6345. (Pg 12).
"Big Nate" it is a funding preference depending on financial need does not mean someone with a high EFC won't receive it - or is necessarily out of consideration.

Actually, what it says is that among those with an EFC below 6345, only those in tier 1 have historically received awards.

It’s coming, I saw on last years board , some ppl didn’t get an finalist email until mid-august and early September. I don’t know about the credit check thing , I never checked to see if they pulled mine , I just received a finalist email on Friday (8/6), you are still in the running, we had a deadline of 8/13 to accept or decline being considered, if someone doesn’t respond or decline , I think they move on to the next batch to send finalist letters too ❤️
