HRSA 2021-2022

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

I really hope I get the scholarship. I know getting a credit check is a good sign but dang I'm nervous.

you could call and ask when we will hear back . I’d call but I’m working LOL .  Maybe they can calm your nerves . 
I don’t think I’ve seen in previous forums where someone got a credit check and didn’t get a finalist email .

Hey guys 

I have been following but didn't say much. I just wanted to know if they run a credit check for all applicants or just the one that are selected to receive the scholarship?

Some people got it some didn’t . But they for sure check credit before they say you’re a recipient

Still nothing on my end. I received the credit check last week. I’m currently reading the 2018-2019 nurse corps thread. It’s very informative. A lot of members received finalist emails on August 20th

thank you! I really put alot into writing and rewriting them bc I wanted them to be as genuine and meaningful as possible. I might just call on Thursday if I don't hear anything by then. I went ahead and accepted my loans just in case though.

Oh yea definitely accept the loans . We won’t be awarded in time before school

Hi!! Which credit check system did you use? I was originally signed up with credit karma and I did not see a credit check. Once I signed up for Experian, it showed my nurse corps credit check on aug 6th!

I spoke with them today. They said they’re having technical issues and some “ batches” were delayed.

It says we’re not guaranteed the award even after we confirm our intend. Does anyone know what the chances are?

Also, when would we receive our first payment? Do they sent the stipend out monthly or per quarter/semester?

From last years board , it looks like it took about 2-4 weeks for the counter signature and they were rewarded as participants on September 15th, this is from what I read , not sure how it will be for us , I got my email August 6th , turned in everything yesterday, now patiently waiting for a signature on my contract ❤️ Leaving it in gods hands because I heard it’s still not guaranteed
