HRSA 2021-2022

Updated:   Published

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

I kept reading and they said it was a glitch and ended up getting awarded

thank God

Hi everyone,

I got a credit check on August 6th and I just got my finalist email today. My EFC is 0 and I have done at least 2 experiences in working with underserved communities. and I'm currently in the first year of my ABSN-MSN program with a specialty in women's health. Congrats to everyone who has received an email so far!

I have a question though, it says in the email that being a finalist is not a guarantee of an award, as the awards are subject to the availability of funds. What are the chances that I will be awarded? Thank you so much!

I applied last day of the extension and got a credit check. my EFC is zero and I'm in a BSN program. I haven't gotten an email yet though.

Same here! I applied 2 days before, Efc O and they ran my credit Friday ?

Even tho I finished my application super early and got a credit check, I think I’m the VERY last if not the bottom of the barrel to get awarded since I’m doing my DNP part time ?.. Went ahead and accepted my hefty loan because I don’t want to wait until the last minute. Fingers crossed tho ??

I would advise you read the section on part time programs and the funding for them. To my understanding you have to be enrolled full-time to be considered tier 1.

I did. It was full time but also spoke about the EFC being a big factor. Either way if it’s meant to be I’ll have it paid for. Just thought it was worth a shot.

I asked that same question and was told that everyone that has been selected should be in good shape to receive funding as long as they submit the paperwork by the deadline.

Anyone else have trouble getting their school to fill out the fall enrollment verification form?  I was told by my school that since it is requiring a school seal it has to be mailed to me, they won't email it.

My school emailed it back to me , let them know other applicants schools were able to email it back to them , all they have to do is stamp the school seal on there, and follow the directions with a pencil to show the watermark.  Let them know your deadline is the 13th , if you are able to go up to the school if you have to do it in person.

My school did it. I Would request to speak to the supervisor and let them know the urgency/importance.
