I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

In the 2018 cycle the reps told them awards had already started going out in early July. Then they all started receiving their credit checks and then the finalist emails rolled in starting mid Aug. 

I totally agree with you. The people on the other end don’t have anything to do with the actual scholarships and have little to no information about results even as far as ‘letters going out’. They end with the same information given in the handbook - we will all have answers by September 30th. I was rejected last year and I never received an email, my status only changed at the end of September on the site. Personally, I’m just trying to keep my inquiry on the site to once in the morning and once in the evening, and focus my mind on preparing for classes soon, which are happening with or without the scholarship. It’s too torturous to keep obsessing ??

I agree with all of yall! Im just trying to keep the faith because we won't know anything until its final. I was reading through old nurse corps threads and there were times where multiple applicants called them with the same question, and everyone was given different answers lmaooo

Hey all, any word on when we'll start to hear back on scholarship awards?? I would love to not worry about paying for school, but I'm trying to be realistic about the competition and selectivity of the scholarships. Has anyone heard yet?  I know they said no later than Sept. 30.

I think someone should call in and choose the option of a recipient rather than an applicant. Maybe going that route you can actually speak to a person who can see more specific details.
