I thought I would start a thread for those who have applied, do that we can keep each other posted on what is going on with the process. Also here to promote tons of positivity for everyone.

Hi. My status changed from "received no review" to "application packet complete". Is everyone here EFC zero and full time student? I talked to someone there and he said that is who gets funding preference.

Note that your SAR says your EFC has to be $0.00. If your EFC is more than that, they won't even consider you.

My EFC is 0.00 and I am fulltime but no change to application status. But I will stay positive.

Yes, my EFC is 0 and I'm full-time. The website says we receive funding preference but I wouldn't say that those without shouldn't aplly or remain hopeful. You never know what happens. Stay Positive Everyone!!!

hi! I checked my status today, and from " received no review" it became

"ONLINE APPLICATION STATUS

NOTICE: Failure to submit the application AND the supplemental documentation will result in a denial of your application. All supplemental documents must be postmarked by June 06, 2008 ."

wasn't that the notice from the supplemental documents? i tried to call them about it, but their office is closed so i'll just try again tomorrow. Has anyone gotten the same message as mine? Thanks!

Idk what that means? It sounds as if something was missing from your packet....

I hope that's not what it means. I keep calling them if they have received all my documents, and all the representatives that I talked to said they did or everything's complete. oh well i'll just wait and see..

I just checked mine and I had the same message. I had called back in June to make sure everything was in and got the yes all documents are in confirmation. I hope we are not out of the running.:confused:

hi.. you know what, I am planning to call them tomorrow. I always call them once a week before..seriously..to the point where I convinced myself that they do have all my documents..haha! It's just so strange that the notice about the deadline to submit all documents is in the status page. I'm sure there's an explanation to that..I even have my finals tomorrow, and here I am worrying about my status with HRSA. Well let's just hope for the best.

What about 2 year program vs. 4 year program. I'm going for associates. What is everybody else and do you know if they have a preference?

OK I just checked mine again and it went from "application packet complete" to the same thing about supplemental docs being due by blah blah. so I wouldn't worry, b/c I KNOW mine was complete. it must just be some sort of standard form.
