I thought I would start a thread for those who have applied, do that we can keep each other posted on what is going on with the process. Also here to promote tons of positivity for everyone.

hi! I applied for the nursing scholarship as well, and i am waiting for any letter from them. It's good to find a thread that shares what i'm feeling at this moment :D

The waiting and not having an exact date on notification (Yes or No) is what makes it hard. I wish every RN student could get this great scholarship.

I was searching from posts in the forum about the HRSA 08, and I thought I saw someone that said she got her rejection letter already. So, are they sending out rejection letters first? I am always checking my application status online, and it's always saying, "received no review". How's everyone's status online? is it the same as mine?

Mine says received no review also, I saw that post also and I don't know. Online it states that rejection letters will be sent out in October. However, the more that we all keep each other posted, the better off we are knowing what is going on.

Mine also says: Received not yet reviewed.

There was a message above my status that stated:

Due to the increased volume of NSP applicants, program staff managing the program will not be able to communicate with you via the web to give you an individual status regarding the processing of your application. We will alert you that your application has been received and is under review. However, continue to check the web site for possible updates regarding the status of your application. It is anticipated that NSP awardees will be notified no later than September/early October. NSP applicants not receiving an award will be notified via email in mid October.

Just checked my status and it changed from Received not yet Reviewed to Application Packet Complete....:up:
