I Passed! The PVT works!

i got the good pop up and i called my bon this morning,b/c we do not have the 48hr results and i passed!! very proud to be a new registered nurse.

do I have to wait a complete 24 hrs before calling the virginia number

Took the NCLEX today, got the good pop up. Will update when the official result is in.

I don;t know about the pay but my family and I spent the weekend in Raleigh and loved it. It seemed like there are areas for the busy city life and areas to just slow down and chill, also Cary, NC is nice too. Check out Greensboro NC!!

Here are some tips Look beyond the big hospitals and apply at doctor offices, check your area for city nurse jobs, check with the LTC facilities, school system, and if you are able to commute look as far as possible like 1 hour away. Also look for any type of position in the hospital that you are qualified for, it may not be nursing but I bet once you get in it may be easier to find a position that fits your needs also which I think is a must utilize your instructors and school. Best of Luck to you. You will get a job as a Nurse!

First, congrats to those who already know they got the scholarship. For those of us still waiting Best Wishes. When I was told that I was not on the list I was disappointed but the bright side is that I am doing well in my RN program in in a few years I'll have a career that I love. So, I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and if you are positive and make positive choices in your life, good things will come. Take Care and Good Luck to all in their studies.

Congrats kday, I am happy for you. I totally understand about the childcare costs!!!! Best Wishes. Mail came no letter, I live in Virginia.

I called and the rep confirmed that the award letters are being mailed out now through the end of the month, and there is no time table to try and figure out when it may or may not come. SOOOO, I wait patiently and Hope .:heartbeat
