Published

I know it is entirely too early but I wanted to get a thread going for all of you who are planning to apply for the NSP this upcoming year. I know it is becoming more and more popular and there are always questions and people wanting to share experiences and such so I hope this thread will become helpful! I have signed up to get the alert for when the application is available for the 2013-2014 FY and hope to meet others who will be applying as well.

My EFC: 0

GPA:3.87

Florida

Congrats to everyone who applied and got accepted!!!

Congrats to those who received it already and good luck to everyone else! I think the common trend so far has been GPA (lots of 3.87 people). So hopefully we get a few more happy emails today!!

I have 1.5 years left in a BSN program, finished my first year with a 3.71 gpa and have 0 EFC. Oh and my program is relatively low cost, about 3500 a semester. I hope I'm still in the running but my portal still says under review. :(

On a happy note...it's so early and they are notifying people way earlier than I thought they would!

Congrats everyone, I have 9 months 22days left before I graduate with my BSN, lol! I'm still waiting and praying I get the scholarahip

Yeah, when I applied my GPA was 3.7 so hopefully they're moving down the list in order of GPA and we get some good news soon! I have 10 months left (out of a 12 month program lol) and with total costs being $60,000 including books.. this scholarship would be a pretty big deal!

My GPA is a 3.8! Moving down by GPA makes sense, hopefully we hear soon!

Also, if anyone hears anything by calling HRSA and getting good information, please share with us! Thank you!

Anyone receive any awards today? Credit checks?

I received my scholarship notification on the 18th!!!! I am beyond blessed and all glory goes to God!!! My EFC= 0 Gpa= 3.6!!

Congrats to everyone who has been awarded so far. Do any of you recipients know what order they are going in as they notify people? Is it by region? GPA? EFC? Do you mind asking for those of us still waiting? I'm glad they are notifying earlier this year...

Healer's art: I think that they are going by EFC first. A EFC between 0-5500 get first preference.
