I can't seem to find a thread on the latest round of Nurse Corps Applications, So I'll start. My initial point is more of me venting, but guess I'll ask - Should I even continue with my application? The new cycle and FAFSA wants us to use 2017 tax info, but in 2017, I was preparing for school and was employed full-time. Now that I'm collecting pennies and in dire need of assistance, it looks like my EFC is almost 8000. I can rarely work in reality. I'm really disheartened and confused as to why the FAFSA is set up like that.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Hello everyone!
I will be applying for the HRSA Nursing Corps scholarship next year for 2020-2021. For those that re-applied for the scholarship after getting denied the first time, does the scholarship repeat the same essay questions?
If so, can someone post the essay questions on this forum? I want to work on my essays now during the remaining of my summer break because I won't have time to work on them once I start nursing classes in the fall.

I got mine checked on Monday as well! I didn't apply for anything new either. It was on Credit Karma from Credco and didn't specify the source of the check, it indicated "Miscellaneous Reptg. Agencies."
I applied for both scholarships. If this is anything, I feel it's likely to be NHSC over Nurse Corps due to the fact that I doubt Nurse Corps will consider me because my "EFC" is over what they typically consider for that particular scholarship.
Does anyone know if they only check those who might, emphasis on might lol, be considered? Or is it a large group of people?
Fingers crossed for everyone!
Hi everyone! I am veryyyy confident my application will get rejected because I didn’t put my applicant ID on my documents. I am confused though because my application status is “under review” but on the portal page it says that applications with missing materials or discrepancies won’t qualify for review. Do you think I have any hope?

Maybe they are just beginning? I’m not sure. But there’s another thread and folks received checks in May and June for the loan repayment program. Hopeful for all of us.
