2019-2020 HRSA Nursing Corps Scholarship

Updated:   Published

I can't seem to find a thread on the latest round of Nurse Corps Applications, So I'll start. My initial point is more of me venting, but guess I'll ask - Should I even continue with my application? The new cycle and FAFSA wants us to use 2017 tax info, but in 2017, I was preparing for school and was employed full-time. Now that I'm collecting pennies and in dire need of assistance, it looks like my EFC is almost 8000. I can rarely work in reality. I'm really disheartened and confused as to why the FAFSA is set up like that.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I am asking because I am wondering if some people been receiving finalist letter mail vs email.

I had received a finalist email and had to confirm if I was still interested, sign the contract and W4. Sent that back the 29th and the contract was signed today by the rep. The initial finalist emails may continue to be sent through the month. Nothing is final until the end of the month.

Thanks for clarifying

Wondering why people get excited about this? Do they usually see changes after maintenance periods?

I don’t think she’s the secretary just a rep. She’s the one who signed peoples contracts in the past

In the US government secretary means, an official who is selected by the President and is in charge of a particular department of the government.

So I heard one girl got her letter sept 6. I will send the email she posted

I got my contract electronically signed on Sept 9 at 2:33 by jamie king. I got my finalist email on August 27 and submitted all my info the next day.
