2019-2020 HRSA Nursing Corps Scholarship

I can't seem to find a thread on the latest round of Nurse Corps Applications, So I'll start. My initial point is more of me venting, but guess I'll ask - Should I even continue with my application? The new cycle and FAFSA wants us to use 2017 tax info, but in 2017, I was preparing for school and was employed full-time. Now that I'm collecting pennies and in dire need of assistance, it looks like my EFC is almost 8000. I can rarely work in reality. I'm really disheartened and confused as to why the FAFSA is set up like that.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hope that’s a good sign for us waiting to hear from them. I just called them and they can’t give out no informations. All there is left to do is to keep checking emails everyday until the 30th of September. Yup!

You are not alone. Still “under review” since I submitted the application. I’m in 3rd semester of the Psych NP program. Don’t lose hope!

Yup im in the same boat as well, still under review. I had to drop one class cos I couldn't afford it. I really need it before my next class or I will be doomed! Praying! :(

Wow I honestly didn’t realized how many of us having to drop or postponed graduations due to a gap in funding ect..... So sad when the need for nurses is out there.

Just wanted to give an update (to those who didn’t know) that I got my finalist letter on 8/27 and I got a signature from Jaime King today 9/6.

I don’t think she’s the secretary just a rep. She’s the one who signed peoples contracts in the past

No email as of yet. Just saw that Jaime King signed my contract right under my name. Still hoping and waiting for another email!??
