2019-2020 HRSA Nursing Corps Scholarship

I can't seem to find a thread on the latest round of Nurse Corps Applications, So I'll start. My initial point is more of me venting, but guess I'll ask - Should I even continue with my application? The new cycle and FAFSA wants us to use 2017 tax info, but in 2017, I was preparing for school and was employed full-time. Now that I'm collecting pennies and in dire need of assistance, it looks like my EFC is almost 8000. I can rarely work in reality. I'm really disheartened and confused as to why the FAFSA is set up like that.

Is anyone else’s status under review? Do you think that means I didn’t get the scholarship?

I am still under Review and that hasn’t changed since day 1. Anyone else have any thoughts? Does that mean we’re unlikely to get the scholarship? If so, I’m a little surprised... I have a 3.77 gpa, EFC $0 - I thought I’d be competitive.

Nothing is final until 9/30/2019. There was people who got picked in late September last year so be patient. Best of luck!

School started yesterday for me. Day 1 of my final semester. Hoping I get a notification this week. I’m fairly sure I can’t register after this 1st week. I wouldn’t care about having missed week 1. I could catch up but yeah no money no graduation. ?

Still stalking like you all hoping the email pops up

Try taking out a private loan. It's gonna suck, but if you get rewarded they will pay it back.

So.....yesterday I had several emails back and forth with a Senior Management Analyst from the Division of Health Careers and Financial Support. They were requesting that my college make the seal visible on my enrollment verification form by the end of the day yesterday. (I have already submitted confirmation of interest last week).

So the registrar sent it to him, he wrote back and said "I am 100% sure that Rebecca thanks you more." Now when I log in, there is a roles drop down in the top right hand corner that wasn't there before?!

Still under review! I have already dropped one class and if I don't get it then I would have to take a break from school. I just called and he said to wait till September 30th for the final decision. My classmate got hers and was wondering if they can give it to more than one person in the class at the same time. Anyway I really do wanna have faith that I will get it but it's hard to sometimes.
