2019-2020 HRSA Nursing Corps Scholarship

I can't seem to find a thread on the latest round of Nurse Corps Applications, So I'll start. My initial point is more of me venting, but guess I'll ask - Should I even continue with my application? The new cycle and FAFSA wants us to use 2017 tax info, but in 2017, I was preparing for school and was employed full-time. Now that I'm collecting pennies and in dire need of assistance, it looks like my EFC is almost 8000. I can rarely work in reality. I'm really disheartened and confused as to why the FAFSA is set up like that.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I’m still waiting on the finalist email.

Does anyone knows how many days I would have to accept, once I receive the email and what do they ask for?

Yep! I only applied to the NHSC. I am an NP student. There still may be more rounds of finalists in the next few weeks!

Hi FutureRNBSN21, I got my email 7/31 and had until 8/3 which is 6 days to send back enrollment verification forms, w-2 and my response whether I intent to accept the scholarship.

Any ADN students apply and receive a finalist email? Feeling very discouraged at this point because I keep seeing BSN & NP students, whom I'm very happy for and hope to be in their shoes someday. Still keeping my fingers crossed. btw, this is for the nurse corps scholarship...

I’m an ADN student as well. I haven’t heard anything yet but keep hope alive! ?
