HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship 2020-2021

I havent seen a thread yet on this year's nurse corps application cycle & my anxiety has made me start one. I'm finishing up my application and should be done with it by today. I know its extremely competitive so honestly I dont think I'll get it but its worth a try! Who else has applied/is applying?

I guess I’m just looking for clarity: and I think the best thing is, is to wait and pray. One rep mentioned that over 8,000 apply and about 200 get awarded. Hi Alyssa! I spoke to a rep about a week after my contract was countersigned on August 6th. The rep said the same thing - that she could only see I was in final review and not the counter signature even though I can see it. I wouldn’t sweat it at all. I think they’re just looking at the main page that we see and not actually clicking on the contract. When I told her about the contract in general like where it is on the page, she seemed very confused. Deep breaths, we got this!!

OMG! Got my counter signature this morning at 8:40am! I know it doesn’t mean anything until we get the actual email, but my heart is pounding. I know sometimes people get the signature and they run out of funds, but I feel so close! We got this!!

Congratulations!! That’s a great sign that they are still doing counter signatures!! It makes me feel like they have adequate funds for us!! We definitely got this!! Keep praying!! ??☺️

Yes He is! You’re all in my prayers! ?? We are so close y’all!

I know in previous years, there was a private facebook group created for those who got countersignatures, so as not to further the anxiety of everyone else. Is that something you’re all interested in?

That's a good point - I never thought of it like that. We've got maximum 20 days left to find out at this point. I am hoping and praying and making sure that karma is on my side! Keep on keeping on, everyone!
