HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship 2020-2021

I havent seen a thread yet on this year's nurse corps application cycle & my anxiety has made me start one. I'm finishing up my application and should be done with it by today. I know its extremely competitive so honestly I dont think I'll get it but its worth a try! Who else has applied/is applying?

I was named a finalist and I am so excited! I just submitted all of my forms and signed contract. Does anyone know when we find out if we definitely got it? trying to decide if I want to start paying for school out of my pocket and get repaid or not

Aww! That’s exciting, congratulations ? What date did you receive a finalist email? And have you had a credit check, if so what date as well?

I received the email on July 17th! but I haven’t received a credit check yet!

oh no! I just realized I made a silly mistake and filled out the W-4 as if it was for work instead of the scholarship!! does anyone know what I can do!!

Hello, I noticed a lot of applicants for BSN programs have received notifications as a finalist. I was just wondering has any Psych NPs or DNP applicants receive notifications yet? And if you have on what dates? Thank you CONGRATS everyone!

Hi again, just realized I made a mistake on my W4 and wrote my work information in step 5 instead of the scholarship. Does anyone think this is a huge deal? going to call in the morning to find out. Im hoping its not I could really use the scholarship

I was not a DNP applicant but I was a FNP applicant and I am a finalist. Received my notification Friday evening at 8pm. I turned in all my stuff yesterday.

I’m a DEN MSN PMHNP student. First year of 3. Got the email the 16th, credit check the 17th.

I am currently in required Summer classes so I have to fill out both forms. I am still waiting on my school, but I think based off what information say you will be able to request it by sending your invoice from your school when the time comes.

So I am still a little confused about the contract. After I submit the three documents, I will then receive a contract I must sign? Sorry, it's just that I am still waiting on my school to send back my forms and I don't see any contracts currently LOL.
