HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship 2020-2021

I havent seen a thread yet on this year's nurse corps application cycle & my anxiety has made me start one. I'm finishing up my application and should be done with it by today. I know its extremely competitive so honestly I dont think I'll get it but its worth a try! Who else has applied/is applying?

Also, everyone who has received this credit check, are you only seeing it on Credit Karma? or other websites that allows you to see your credit?

Questions for finalists:

There is a Summer Enrollment and a Fall Enrollment Form listed on the required documents.

Are we having our institutions filling out ONE of those? I will be doing Summer 2021... but I think that would be covered by the NEXT round of scholarships next year? Does that sound right?

(Background: I start this Fall... but the first year is this Fall 2020, Spring 2021, Summer 2021).

There is not a star by the Summer 2020 upload spot, to me I believe it is not required, only for people asking for funding for Summer 2020. I intended to leave it blank because it doesn't apply to me! Summer 2021 wouldbe net year.

Hi! I called them and asked. I noticed there’s no asterick next to it like there is for the fall. They seemed confused by my question, but it sounded like if you don’t have a Summer start, you don’t need it. Just have the fall one filled out. If anyone else wants to call and ask let me know!!

Thank you! That's what I thought but wanted to make sure. I sent the email to my school's registrar asking for both and they probably think I'm crazy! Oh well, I got the news on Friday and my school is closed Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and isn't incredibly responsive to these types of requests. Any one else stressing about getting in the documents on time!?

You have to harass them, we only have a week to get them done! My school was very responsive, I got mine back the next day after I sent them.

For the people who received a finalist email, how many years did you request funding for? 1, 2, or 3 years?

The coordinator of my program got back to me right away, but the link of the document (fall) I sent to him wouldn’t open for him. Then I saved it as a PDF and the year 2020 disappeared and so did the pre bubble “4” that was filled out. HRSA said just to make a note that the computer altered the form. So I’m a little worried. I haven’t heard from the coordinator but if he doesn’t send it to me by Tuesday, I’ll have to ask him again.

Credit karma sent me an alert the day after, I checked credit karma equifax
