HRSA 2014-2015 Nurse Corps Scholarship

Hello everyone, This is my second time applying for this scholarship and hope to get it this time around. I got accepted into Pace nursing program fall of last year but because of lack of funds I had to postpone it for this fall. My overall GPA Is 3.4 and I have EFC of 0. I submitted my application today and now the waiting game begins:nailbiting:. Wish everyone good luck!!!!

I got my participant email yesterday around 10:30 AM!! Woohoo! Words cannot express how excited and grateful I'm feeling!! Congrats to all of the other awardees and good luck to everybody else!!

Just got my participant email on Thursday, August 28. It is a relief!

I'm pretty sure that Florida, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands have the same reviewer. If anyone in this region has been awarded the scholarship could you please advise? No one from the VI has received any communication as of yet.

It is crazy because I haven't seen anyone from those 3 areas awarded here or on Facebook... Last year those areas were last to hear... I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I've given up a little bit.

I received the initial congratulations and I am in Puerto Rico, but I have yet to receive a participant email.

My first award email was August 4, but then because of a system error they had to send me a new one on August 11.

Oh my gosh. I would be devastated I'm sorry for you. Did anything come of it with HRSA? Also, where are you located?

I'm in Florida and wondering the same. And as of this morning, mine still says "Under Review" also. I have to pay the rest of my tuition before September 30, so I really hope I hear something by then.

@maanggohs I am in Florida as well, but a BSN senior. My application still says "under review" and I too have given up hope. I've read in some places that they still award into September because some people do not accept the award, I guess, so maybe we still have a chance. Good luck!

Hello everyone & congrats to those who have already been notified of their award. I am in Florida and wondering if anyone has heard anything and if they really do continue to award into September? I don't want to completely give up hope. Any info would be helpful and appreciated!
