Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone, This is my second time applying for this scholarship and hope to get it this time around. I got accepted into Pace nursing program fall of last year but because of lack of funds I had to postpone it for this fall. My overall GPA Is 3.4 and I have EFC of 0. I submitted my application today and now the waiting game begins:nailbiting:. Wish everyone good luck!!!!

Anyone from Maryland that has been awarded already?

I'm so anxious!!!! Ugh

Congrats and good luck to everyone!

Congrats to everyone who was awarded! No credit check yet and my fingers are crossed that they go by regions and Chicago hasn't been hit yet

I'm anxious too, I did see they checked on July 30, my credit but nothing else. Hopefully we will hear something today. I'm in Md as well

I am in FLorida and all of these posts are causing SUCH anxiety!!! Prayers are needed. Congrats to everyone who has been awarded. Wish me luck down here...!

I'm in florida also! No credit check here and no word of anything! Anyone else in florida hear anything?

Same here..I'm in MD. My credit was checked on July 30th, nothing else since then. I'm so nervous....hopefully we hear something today..gooduck everyone!!!

I got a finalist email this morning at 8:16 EST. My husband's application is still under review. We both have GPA of 4.0, EFC 354, and are in Puerto Rico. Our credit was checked on July 31. God be with all of you still waiting.

Congrats to all who have heard something. I'm starting to feel a little nervous.

Program: accelerated bsn (second degree)

gpa: 3.8

My essays and recommendations are strong. I have some work including volunteering and interning in the medical field, mental health field, and I am fluent in Spanish since I am half Puerto Rican. I've always helped my parents with everything medical by translating when I was younger. I think I would be a strong candidate but now I'm so scared because I'll have to drop out of my program if I don't get it. Everyone is getting all these emails and credit checks and I've heard nothing so it's getting nerve wracking. Anyone who wants to join forces with me by trying to keep positive thoughts, please do!

uhg :(

I will try but it looks like for me, I'm just gonna be in debt :(

Anybody in Louisiana?

Is anyone else having trouble getting enrollment verification from their school with the stamped seal? If anyone is attending GW and has completed this portion please let me know.

This is Puerto Rico..I'm pretty sure they won't give me a raised seal. It will be hard enough to just find someone with enough authority to fill in the form. haha...

I got the banking information, W4, and enrollment verification forms completed and uploaded this morning. I electronically signed the contract. Now it is out of my hands again. My status is now "In Final Review".

The waiting game begins. I wasn't emotionally invested in Nurse Corps because I figured I only had a 10% chance to get it. Now that I am this close I have a greater sense of emotional investment. As a person of faith I tell myself its all in God's hands.

Since I am in an accelerated BSN program as a second degree student I don't have a lot of scholarship options. Without this scholarship it appears that I will be stuck funding the whole program through loans.
