2024 HRSA Nurse Corps Loan Repayment

Hi everyone, just starting this form since I didn't see a thread for this application cycle. First time applicant, Tier 2.

Specializes in Pre-Nursing.

Can we not be negative about this please. They are probably just sending everyone email to update them.

Yes, it still says submitted. Just checked.

I got that email as well. For some reason I thought the application response would be back by August 30th, so that information was helpful. My application still says under review.

I received the same e-mail saying my application is currently under review. However when I log into my account my status has changed to "Finalist for Award."

Hi, is this for the nurse corps specific loan repayment, or the "2024 NHSC LRP" ?

I applied to the latter - had my credit checked mid July - and application portal still states Under Review. Score of 20, Tier 2, Psych NP

My application is for the Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program. I'm a Certified Nurse Midwife in the Tier 1 category.

How long did it take for your status to changed from under review to Finalist?

I just got the email that my application was being reviewed

Hi everyone.  I am CRNA wondering if we are all in the same applicant pool or are different numbers of awards allocated to RNs, APRNs, etc.? I am asking specifically about Nurse Corp Loan Repayment program.

I got an email this week that my application is under review. Status is still "submitted" on my portal.  

And final question...does anyone have any recent clarity regarding the <20 new awards? Are we thinking this is true?

I just found out I received an award! I'm a nurse midwife with >100% DI ratio and a HPSA score of 21. So excited!

I also got the email that said "status update will be available by sept 30" but when I logged into the portal it said "finalist for award". I called the help desk and they said there had been some issues with the wrong email being sent to finalists-- they're supposed to get an email confirming their continuation of interest but they're just getting the standard one.
