I haven't received any email aside from "my application is being reviewed" 

 

Still hoping but not going to lie I'm starting to feel discouraged.

Hi, tier 2 outpatient mental health facility RN. Also feeling discouraged but I'm wondering about a few things:

my credit does not appear to have been checked at all?

I received the same email about my application being under review last Friday, still says submitted on the portal. I confirmed with help desk that is under review.
 

how long do candidates have to confirm interest? I'm just wondering if maybe there is hope to be considered for the second round of candidates.

Applied to NurseCorps LRP, got an email that said "application under review" about a week ago but when I log into the portal it still says "submitted". No credit check, no further emails, HPSA score 19, DTI ratio slightly >100%.  Hoping they're doing them in batches, fingers crossed. Anyone in the same boat with any updates or insight? Trying not to lose hope..

Yes, same boat! HPSA score only 16. Fingers crossed we get credit checked soon! 🤞

Can anybody that has gotten confirmation of interest emails please confirm how long they had to respond? Just curious.

My app still says submitted, never received any follow up email. I did call and they did say they do them in batches but that there is a very small amount of awards this year (20) because they are focusing on continuations. please remember this forum is for the nurse corps loan repayment, not NHSC. I am tier 1 but not mental health or midwife so not very hopeful this year.... But we will see. Good luck everyone. And if those that receive awards don't mind, share your stats? Thank you.

Someone earlier in this thread said the 20 awards was a typo and that the goal is closer to 1000 new recipients but who knows 🤷‍♀️

I am hopeful this is the case.. I did ask the rep to confirm the 20 number and she was pretty much just reading off the pamphlet the same way any of us can. So maybe she did not know and the other one did 🙂
