Hey Yall,
I'm beginning my essay for ABSN. Has anyone found any resources on YouTube about essay tips for the scholarship?

I believe as long as you are not in default with federal loan you will be fine
I also got my credit report pulled on 5/30/2024. This is my second year applying and is my first time getting credit pulled. Not sure how accurate this is given this year they're giving so few awards.

Can those who have had their credit checked share their stats? Hospital tier, speciality, etc? Thank you.

sure, I am a psych NP (MSN) working at a FQHC (under one of the biggest New York hospital systems) in Brooklyn. My debt to salary ratio is > 100%. Tier 1. Second year applying.

Okay. I am assuming the credit check is from some federal sounding institution?
It sounds like you deserve this award. Good luck! Thank you again.

I got my credit pulled last year (May 2023) and did not receive the award. I re-applied this year and haven't gotten a credit check yet 😕

Second year applicant here. I do not expect to receive an award given the low number they will give this year. I, too, had my credit checked last year and this year, both times in May. From my research, this is just standard and is just a part of the process.

Credit checked on 05/30, first time applying, tier 2. Is everyone's application status "under review" when you log in to your HRSA portal?
First time applying, credit check 05/30. Tier 1. Application status is currently "under review".
