Hprp special option test on probation

I just did my hprp evaluation and they told me today I have to do a special option for my evaluation even though they had me do a urine screen. I asked if everything was okay and my hprp intake manager said everything was fine but now they make all people on probation do a special testing option that is hair blood or nail just because they're on probation? I'm a little confused ... she didn't say I failed anything on my urine screen but I'm not sure why they're having me do this then...anyone else have to do a special option for their evaluation just because they're on probation?

I had to do all the special options even though I wasn't on probation. Urine, blood, hair, nails... the whole shebang with my entrance evaluation. I had a recent evaluation for a 'positive' etoh and didn't have to do nails, but everything else.

Pfft, I got railroaded into ANOTHER evaluation awhile back for no other reason other than some little smidge of gossip between the CM and a person/facility I had recently left the employ of. In spite of the complete and total abscence of any positive/dilute/missed/missed check in/nothing out of order, not a dang thing wrong, I still had to puke up pee, hair, blood, etc. and all the attenandant costs. Results? Absolutely nothing. Who knew that a job change Could cost $1000+.

I did not get hit with special testing on entry, but about 14 months in I got hit with special testing...a nail test. I do get random blood tests thrown in fairly frequently as well, even though alcohol was never my DOC. Who knows what they are testing for though. I've had 2 different blood tests done. Of note, I've never had a positive, dilute, or anything else wonky either. Just the nature of my contract, I suppose.

I guess I'm nervous because I did drink within the last few months and obviously that means I'd fail a hair or nail test. I'm just afraid they'll report it to my probation officer and I'll go to jail. I haven't drank in a while and have been trying not to but this just seems so harsh. I'm not sure what to do.

I haven't signed a monitoring agreement contract yet... they say this is to decide what my agreement will consist of... idk if that makes a difference

Do your probation terms state that you can't drink alcohol?

I haven't formally violated my probation and they don't do drug tests like hprp- they donirine screens and can do etg urine screens if they want but that's it. ...but if the hprp people decide to inform them of this result obviously it will show I've relapsed and have violated. I have a feeling they'll be *******s about it and do just that. My freedom is important to me. I realize I screwed up by relapsing and I am doing my best to not do so again- but I don't think getting myself in trouble after the fact is necessary. Two probationary terms is proving to be extremely difficult to follow. I may just try getting back into nursing when I've been sober longer because this is enough to make someone relapse. Im suicidal and frankly im not sure if my job is worth this level of anxiety.

I just went to an AA meeting and they tried to make me feel better... I spoke to someone who swears up and down that they're only wanting to hair/ nail test me to assure no drug use in the past few months. She says alcohol wouldn't show- she's a practitioner and she deals with drug testing..I'm not sure I believe her as my research indicates that they can test etg for 3 months. Maybe hprp doesn't even test for etg in a hair or nail test... maybe they save the blood testing for that one (Peth)... idk.

Can you update us on what happened? I was also just informed i needed to do some special test due to probation. Can you please let me know what happened? I am totally panicking. Thanks
