That actually closely matches my own SNF/LTC experience. MY advice don't do it. If you choses to go ahead with it buy some good running shoes.

@Hopeful RN It's not bad, I don't get that much admission. I am still learning and still don't know what I am doing half the time. Asking questions and if I don't ask something I will ask. I do get admission, but I only get one, max 2 during my shift. I am doing better with my med pass, since they had given me more training. Thanks for asking and sorry for the late reply. I just got hired working the 2nd shift (230-11pm). All I know is I will be doing a lot of med passes and admissions(5-8 per shift ) .... orientation is only 6-10 days. I would get anywhere between 14-16 patients per shift.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
