I also like Kylin a lot, but my god children are Kyler and Ashlyn -- so that might not work well when I start having children. :roll

When I have children..I want my girls to be Annabelle Grace & Kaitlyn Joanne. For boys..Nicholas Michael & Jacob Robert.
Now if I have two boys and two girls I will be lucky lol!! Just as long as they are happy and HEALTHY!

My girls: Savannah Lynn and Cari Ann
Savannah...that's what I've wanted to name my first daughter. Lynn, as a middle name, goes back something crazy - 6 generations, I'm told.
Cari...Wow. That's a long story. Suffice it to say she was named after an aunt that passed away at 33.
Boys? Well, no more young'uns for me. But, I've always liked Hunter. Funny enough, my sister-in-law named her first son Hunter. :)

Recent deliveries: Mia, Katelyn, Neveah (the old 'heaven spelled backwards') for girls and Cody, Daelin, and Jack for boys.
If I am ever blessed with children, I'm hoping for Grace (after my grandmother, the first nurse in the family) and Thomas.

I had never heard Daylen until this month, then all of sudden I had two of them.
Recently, I had a pt who named her baby girl Nora Elaine. I thought that was very classic and elegant.
Personally, mine are Tanner, Travis, Tatum, and Teagan.

I recently read an article about how the name Nevaeh (heaven spelled backwards, as has been mentioned elsewhere in this thread) has exploded in popularity in the last few years. This article said no name that kind of ''came out of nowhere'', meaning it wasn't first given to a celebrity child or used on a popular TV show, like this one. Last year, it was more popular than the names Sarah and Amanda.

i like very traditional names. my boyfriend and i (not quite engaged yet...but we know its gonna happen) have talked about what we want to name our kids. he likes Isaiah Jordan or Jordan Isaiah for a boy and Elizabeth Grace for a girl. i'm also partial to Isaac and Asher (pronounced a-share).

I love the name Sawyer for a little boy or Kaden. If there are any more little girls in my future I plan to use Karson or Kamden. I have two daughters Kaitlyn and Kennedy.

My first marriage was to a very dull bulb who did not like going for non traditional names.
I like very "out there" names: Appolonia (my great grandmother's name),
Abra (female character in "East of Eden"), Angelina (dull bulb's grandmother) Desiree, and Lane, were all names nixed by my milquetoast ex-husband.
He said that our kids would hate us for naming them those names. So our girls were named Jennifer Lane (he accepted a "different" middle name),
Melissa Sue, and Kimberly Ann, all nice, but very common names
Surprisingly, Jennifer Lane loves her middle name so much, she wishes we had given that as her first name. Jen and Melissa both were angry that we gave them such common names and both have considered changing to a more "out-there" name. Kimberly is happy with her name, but would have loved to be named any of the other names I have mentioned.
When I divorced dull-bulb and married my current husband and became pregnant, We did not want our son to be a junior. My husband was named after his father who was severely abusive and evil to my husband. He loves his grandfather (mothers father) so much that we named our son Joseph after him. Joey's middle name is the grandfather's last name. I wanted to honor him for being the one good person in my husband's life and he was very honored.

My granddaughter's name is Boston. I'm not sure if that goes under this thread or under unusual names. At first no one liked it but it grows on you. And the name suits her - she looks like a pretty little Boston.
