How do you spend your first day off?

I usually sleep for 16+ hours straight. I work 4 or 5 in a row, usually.

I spent my first day of a four day stretch with a quick veg-out his morning (after getting off at 3:30 am-alternate swing mid shift), got groceries, ran errands and marinated chicken for tomorrow's dinner; currently elevating my feet and enjoying Hulu as we speak. :)

Try to sleep in!!! Work out! Run errands, cook, clean, etc. Vegetate. Avoid work calling.

If I have at least 2 days off in a row usually a gratuitous amount of alcohol and good cheer is involved.

Sleeping. I work nights. I usually sleep all of the morning when I get off, wake up mid-afternoon, and then go back to sleep in the evening and sleep through the night. By the time I wake up the next day, my body is on a daytime schedule. Day shifters have it really easy - they don't have to waste an entire day off sleeping it away and still feeling potentially jet-lagged the other few days.
