Hello !

I lived long time near the netherlands border, and I think, they would say :

Ik houd van pleeg

Hope that is right

Sorry but I asked my hubby to translate. He is french...from Paris.....real anal about his language lol typic franchais.....sorry but my keyboard isn't set up for the accents.

a bientot :nurse:

Well I won't argue with a real Frenchman! However people here do omit the article un(e) when they talk about their profession (and I was taught this is correct), and I'm shocked he doesn't use a preposition. Does he have an explanation for this? (I'm not questioning his use of his own language, I'm simply interested as you get different explanations from different French people:))

Gitane, thank-you for prompting me to look this up!

The verb aimer is followed by a direct verb and not a preposition. I've been making this mistake a long time now! Big merci to your man!

In Spanish..."Me encanta ser enfermero"

in portuguese is said "eu amo enfermagem", i'm glad i could help you!

German, Diane. Or you could say "Krankenpflege gefaellt mir.." or "Ich mag Pflegedienst"... :)
I believe that was German? Here is the Dutch translation:

Ik houd van zijnd een verpleegster

Cheers!

Hi babynurse, I am not sure about your translation, "ganso" is the portuguese word for "goose", I think in spain thay say "oca" therefore you should say "la oca loca" because oca is in the fem. gender. But maybe in Latin America that is correct... Who knows for sure?

"J'aime être infirmière" is how we say in France. Or we say "j'aime prendre soin des autres" : I love to take care of others.

Peace and Love for everybody ...:balloons:

La enfermeria me encanta.

In the Philippines, "MAHAL KO ANG PAGIGING NARS" is equivalent to I love being a nurse... Good day. :)

Nursing...........better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.....most of the time.
