How old were you when you began nursing school?

Published

I know this is a very random question, and I know lots of people go to nursing school when they're older and for second careers and stuff.

I graduated from high school early and will be going to nursing school at age 20 (hopefully if I get in), and I'm just wondering what the age range is for new BSN students. Is twenty typically a young age for nursing students?

i am 22 and have a year and a half left, and that is after changing my major and completing 2 years of education courses. . . .

It's a life change and one I'm sure you won't regret. I went back at 45 yrs old for my LPN. I am 49 now and working on my RN

I was twenty. I've met students as young as 18 and as old as 60 in my program. Not that 60 is old, mind you, it's just a non-traditional student age. My mom also graduated in 2004 from the program I am in now. She was 42 when she started school.

I will be 24 when I start on September 2. This is my second degree, I have been out of school working for the past two years. I will be 25 and a half (lol) when I finish.

I was 22 when I started and I graduate next year, will be 24.

I was 41 when I started and will be 44 when I graduate in December. Mid twenties seem to be the average age in my class.

I started school for my LPN at 16 years of age, finished at 18, should finish my RN at 21 years of age. woo hoo!
